Not suitable for dishwasher

I didn't really want to leave a review at first but after using the plate for a couple of weeks and still not able to get rid of soapy taste I thought I should put it out there so that other parents can make an informed decision. The plate looks great. I love the colour, size and that it comes with a lid. Unfortunately after washing it in the dishwasher it has a soapy taste that is transferred into the food (the longer the food is in the plate the more you taste it). I have tried hand washing it multiple times, soaked it in vinegar and baking soda but still get the soapy taste. I don't think I can use this plate anymore. It can be argued whether or not the plate is dishwasher safe. It is dishwasher safe as the product is undamaged but not really usable afterwards because of the soapy taste it carries. If you choose to hand wash instead of putting it in the dishwasher, it's a great buy. If you are looking for something that goes in the dishwasher, this is best avoided.
