What is the best way to clean a teether?
It’s important to deep clean teethers from time to time. Soak them in hot water mixed with mild dish detergent for a few minutes, then soak in warm or cold vinegar and freshwater together for 15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly under cool water so that they don’t grow bacteria on their surfaces which could cause illness if ingested by your baby!
100% silicone teethers can be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher or washed by hand in soapy water.
If the teether contains wood, please only wipe clean as the wood can swell.
Can you freeze a teether?
Put the teething ring in a refrigerator to chill for an enjoyable experience. You may be able to freeze them but make sure to inspect them as they can become too hard for the baby as their gums may be hurt from exposure! Avoid fluid-filled toys as well since they could cause injury when being chewed on by babies who tend not yet know how teeth work best 🙂
What age can I give my baby a teether?
